Miriam Perez

Miriam Pérez Guerrero, a sculptor from Mérida, Yucatán, is renowned for infusing her works with a sense of movement akin to dance, captured in bronze. Notably, she created the "Carro de Sol" using the lost wax bronze technique, situated in Cuernavaca, Morelos. Her artistic repertoire extends across various mediums, including bronze sculpture, painting, drawing, fused glass, and ceramics, utilized in monumental sculpture and architectural design.

Additionally, she has expertise in designing sets and lighting for theater and television, along with choreography. Currently residing in Cuernavaca, Pérez Guerrero primarily favors bronze sculpting using the lost wax method but also works with other metals like iron, stainless steel, and aluminum. Her notable piece, "Carro de Sol," debuted at the 2008 Cuernavaca Fair and is now situated at the Tizoc2 cruise. Her recent exhibition, "El tiempo vivo," showcased her latest medium-sized works and pencil sketches.
