MICHEL LEAL, GERMÁN (1957). He was born on October 24 in Tonaya, Jal., Mexico. From 1978 to 1982 he studied the Bachelor in Business Administration at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). In 1982 he traveled to Holland to take a course of foundry processes in the Petit and Fressen, for six months. In 1983 he attended for 6 months the workshops of crafts and plastic arts of the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS), Unidad Independencia. From 1983 to 1985 he worked as an assistant to the sculptor Gabriel Ponzanelli. He also collaborated in the realization of monuments, in 1991 to Henry Dumant, Celaya, Gto., Mexico; to Guadalupe Victoria, Ciudad Victoria, Tamps., Mexico and in 1992 to Francisco I. Madero, Saltillo, Coah., Mexico. Since 1986 he has been Director of Bells Sonoras, S.A., in the foundry branch of sculptures and other foundry processes. In his work he manages the figurative and organic. The materials he uses are bronze and metal.
